About Us
Our MISSION is to exponentially increase the positive social impact of best-in-class nonprofit organizations in order to improve the lives of millions of individuals.
Overview
Growth Philanthropy Network (GPN) was founded in March 2004 as a nonprofit
committed to the long-term goal of building a philanthropic capital marketplace and ecosystem that will provide consistent and reliable funding for the large-scale expansion of high-impact
nonprofit initiatives. We believe the establishment of a growth capital marketplace in which funders make well-researched investments to help top-performing nonprofits with proven solutions scale their impact, will transform the social sector.
GPN works with both funders and NPOs:

Strategy
GPN is creating a national marketplace of individuals and organizations that work in concert to widely scale and disseminate proven programs and solutions. As a market builder in the field of scaling, GPN is developing a national network of funders and creating reliable methods, processes and field infrastructure to consistently connect network participants to appropriate expansion initiatives. GPN’s initial focus is on education, youth development, health, and poverty alleviation. Ultimately, GPN hopes to exponentially increase the impact of effective social sector initiatives so that they can improve the lives of millions of individuals.
Because marketplace development requires broad sector-wide collaborations, GPN’s market building strategies are primarily implemented through the Social Impact Exchange, a national membership association dedicated to scaling impact in the social sector.
