About Us

Positioning and Model

GPN provides capital and other resources to assist select NPOs scale their programs regionally and nationally. GPN focuses on large-scale, second-stage expansions that help successful organizations grow from 10 or more sites to 100 or more sites and significantly increase their national budgets.

GPN raises growth capital through a syndication model, in which multiple funders (foundations, families and high-net-worth individuals) collaborate to jointly fund large-scale expansion initiatives, while providing technical assistance to the management and Board, (similar to the way an investment bank works with both investors and corporations to finance growth).

GPN’s model includes the creation of a growth marketplace comprised of a network of national and local funders who contribute to expansions and replications of GPN's high-impact NPOs, as well as a pipeline of top-performing programs, and leaders seeking solutions to social problems in their communities.

GPN seeks to collaborate with all participants in the philanthropy sector who are interested in supporting growth of proven programs. Learn about collaboration opportunities
